this week a lot of things went wrong. the heating in the office broke down for a few days. the heating at home was down for a few days. i injured my back. then my RSI attacked me. all of this while the outside temperature dropped further and further – and continues to drop. it didn’t help that i attended a CND meeting on thursday about the aftermath of fukushima, and the questionable dependency on a mix of nuclear, coal, gas and oil energy – which is obviously all about keeping the home warm especially when feeling fragile, and especially at temperatures below zero.
with very little own energy left i didn’t get to do much photography adventures, but i enjoyed my new lens and the new views it offers me on very bleak, fragile looking winter plants. amazing how they can stand upright and firm in the icy wind and look so graceful.
